FreightBound is a freight intelligence and freight cost analysis software platform. This Privacy Policy describes what information FreightBound collects, how it is used, and your privacy rights. By using FreightBound, you consent to the practices described here.

When you register, we collect account information such as your name, email address, and company details (company name, industry, and address fields you provide during onboarding). This information establishes and administers your isolated company workspace and authenticates your access.

To provide the Freight Intelligence Engine, FreightBound processes freight documents you upload — such as invoices, rate confirmations, bills of lading, proofs of delivery, contracts, accessorial schedules, fuel surcharge schedules, detention records, and lumper receipts. These documents are stored in association with your company workspace and are analyzed to produce findings, reports, and recommended actions. Your documents are isolated to your company workspace and are not shared with other customers.

We collect billing-related information necessary to administer your subscription, including your company contact details. FreightBound does not display or store your full payment-card information.Card numbers, CVCs, and similar sensitive card data are entered directly into and handled by Stripe, our payment processor, and are not stored in FreightBound.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout to enter payment information. Stripe transmits to FreightBound only the status and identifiers needed to manage your subscription (for example, subscription status and period end). FreightBound relies on Stripe's secure handling of card data and does not itself process or retain full card details.

FreightBound uses your information to: provide and improve the freight analysis service; generate findings, reports, and recommended actions; administer your account and subscription; secure and maintain the platform; and provide support. We do not sell your information to third parties.

FreightBound applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including company-level data isolation and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account, company, and document data for as long as your workspace is active, and afterward as needed to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your workspace data by contacting FreightBound support at support@getfreightbound.com or through the Support page; certain records may be retained where required by law or to finalize outstanding billing matters.

FreightBound uses trusted third-party providers to operate the service, including Stripe for payment processing and cloud infrastructure and AI analysis providers to power document analysis. These providers process information only as necessary to deliver the service and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to restrict or object to certain processing. You may exercise these rights by contacting FreightBound support at support@getfreightbound.com or through the Support page. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
