FreightBound — Freight Intelligence & Freight Cost Analysis Software

Effective August 24, 2026

1. About FreightBound

FreightBound is a freight intelligence and freight cost analysis software platform. FreightBound provides software tools that analyze freight documents — such as invoices, rate confirmations, bills of lading, proofs of delivery, contracts, and accessorial schedules — to identify potential billing discrepancies, overcharges, duplicate charges, unsupported accessorials, detention discrepancies, fuel-surcharge issues, and contract provisions that may increase cost exposure. FreightBound generates findings, reports, and recommended actions to help logistics teams review and pursue potential cost recovery.

By creating a FreightBound account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Subscription & Billing

FreightBound Professional is offered as a recurring monthly subscription at $299.00 USD per month, billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Taxes, if applicable, may be added to the charge.

You authorize FreightBound to charge the monthly subscription fee to the payment method you provide through Stripe until the subscription is cancelled. Pricing may change with reasonable advance notice; any price change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle following notice.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period — you retain access until then. No further charges occur after cancellation. Cancellation does not retroactively refund the current or prior billing periods except where required by applicable law.

4. No Guarantee of Recovery or Refunds

FreightBound is an analytical tool. FreightBound does not guarantee that any freight discrepancy, overcharge, or potential recovery it identifies will result in an actual refund, credit, or financial recovery. Findings represent software-generated analysis of the documents provided and may be affected by incomplete, inaccurate, or missing documentation, carrier responses, contract interpretation, or other factors outside FreightBound's control.

FreightBound does not negotiate with carriers on your behalf and does not transmit disputes to carriers. Any communication with a carrier is initiated and sent by you using your own methods. Recovery of any identified amount depends entirely on your actions and the carrier's response.

5. Customer Responsibility to Review Findings

You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and acting on any finding, report, or recommendation FreightBound produces before taking any action, including disputing a charge, withholding payment, or contacting a carrier. FreightBound findings are informational and should not be relied upon without independent review against your source documents, contracts, and business judgment.

6. No Legal Advice

FreightBound provides software analysis and information only. FreightBound does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm. Contract analysis and contract-provision findings are business and document risk guidance, not legal advice. You should consult a qualified attorney for legal advice regarding any contract, dispute, or regulatory matter.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use FreightBound only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. You will not: upload documents you do not have the right to use; attempt to access another customer's data; reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service; use the service to defraud any carrier or third party; or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify FreightBound promptly of any unauthorized access or security incident. FreightBound is not liable for losses from compromised credentials you failed to protect.

9. Intellectual Property

FreightBound, its software, design, branding, and original content are owned by FreightBound and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant FreightBound a limited license to process your documents solely to provide the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreightBound and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, or unrecovered freight charges, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. FreightBound's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid FreightBound in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Service Availability

FreightBound strives for reliable availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, or events outside our control. We are not liable for temporary unavailability.

12. Termination

You may stop using FreightBound at any time by cancelling your subscription. FreightBound may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or to protect the service. Upon termination, your data may be retained per the Privacy Policy but access to the service ends.

13. Changes to These Terms

FreightBound may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
